“In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.” – Albert Einstein

Mr. Barbuto has proven himself to be a skilled and tenacious injury lawyer since the beginning of his legal career. He in fact began his career settling a premises liability lawsuit for $600,000 only a year after passing his first bar exam. Mr. Barbuto also spent the early years of his practice defending insurance companies in personal injury actions, providing him an invaluable perspective that works to his advantage in now pursuing claims against insurance companies.  Prior to that, Mr. Barbuto clerked at a national securities fraud class action law firm in San Diego, working on such cases as the Halliburton Securities Litigation, which recently settled for $100 million after a long, drawn out battle.

For approximately the past 10 years, Mr. Barbuto has distinguished himself as one of the leading lawyers in Palm Beach County’s western communities, having taken over a general practice from the late Ann Porath, Esq. in 2008, who was the first full-time lawyer to practice in Wellington, Florida in the early 1980s. Since 2008, Mr. Barbuto has championed all types of legal matters for clients in his general practice, representing thousands of Florida residents from probate actions to complex commercial litigation. Based on his background and experience in injury law and class actions, as well as the needs of his clientele, Mr. Barbuto founded a second law firm with his talented partner, Carly Johansson, devoted to injury law (personal injury and financial injury), and helping victims maximize their economic damages for their injuries.

Mr. Barbuto earned a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in literature from Bard College at Simon’s Rock.  He then received his law degree at Oklahoma City University School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2006, and the New Jersey and Florida Bars in 2007. He practices in Palm Beach County, Florida, with a focus on injury cases and class action client development.  Mr. Barbuto is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Barbuto resides in Wellington, Florida with his Albanian-Italian wife, and small children, Leonardo and Sofia.  Aside from the practice of law, Mr. Barbuto maintains a blog at www.italianenthusiast.com, where he writes about authentic Italian culture in his spare time.  He also has a significant presence on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Tik Tok, with close to a million followers and/or fans.
